Some folks are professional and settle a claim based on declared value of the item, damage incurred, shipper/reciever reports and driver reports. End of story. Others like to hold up a claim despite proper paperwork, insurance amounts and agreed statements from the driver, shipper and reciever. These claims drag on forever, and are usually settled, although with less than the amount originally claimed, we take the cheque because we're cutting losses at this point. Same courier company as example #1. Kinda like when you go through customs at the airport, some are little Nazis, some are actually pretty professional and cool. Regards,
